Starting any kind of business is a challenge, as it was for me when I first started my hard drive repair business. I had to get all the necessary documents and licenses, hire some trained staff and find a great office space downtown in the business area. I figured that’s where most of my future clients will be. And I was right. It took a while to do some advertising and spread the news in the area, but soon enough first clients started coming. Because of the new software I had developed for getting information from hard drives that were in really bad shape, I was able to help most of my clients. At first I tired keeping my prices low to get more customers with server recovery problems, but in a few months I started raising rates, but clients still came. In fact in the first six months I have already achieved the goal I set for the whole year one.
